Rear Deck Lid and Right Inner Fender

The area where the rear inner fender and rear deck lid attach was covered over with a piece of tin and bondo and once it was removed it revealed quite a bit of rust.

I first started by drilling out the spot welds that held the read deck lid to the inner fender and discarded the pile of rust.

I first made a patch panel to fix the top part of the wheel well and first part of the upper lip. The lip tapers down and is to small to fit in my finger break so I had to make the inner fender patch panel  in two parts.

Using the patch panel as a guide the area to be cut out is marked out.

Using my air body saw the area is carefully cut out along the scribe lines.
